3D Ready TV

by admin

3D Ready High Definition TV’s have been sold in stores for the last few years primarily by Samsung and Mitsubishi.  Panasonic and Sony have also announced plans for 3D HD TV home theater.  Sony stated that many PS3 games will work with 3D glasses starting in 2010 if you have a 3D ready TV.

3D Ready TV means that you need additional hardware for the TV to display 3D images.  That hardware would be the use of 3D glasses which enable the watching of true stereoscopic HD 3D video.

3D Ready TV creates incredible, stunning images through the use of advanced technology including: high definition resolutions (720p or 1080p), high refresh rates (120 Hertz or more), electrons to decode 3D video signals.

How to determine if I have a 3D Ready TV

Look at the back of your TV for an outlet labled “3D SYNC OUT” or “3D Glasses”.  It is similar to an S-Video jack but contains only 3 pins.  If you find either of these sockets then your TV is ready to view 3D HD images.
